1. Purpose
1.1 This Refunds & Returns Policy governs the terms under which customers may return seedlings purchased from our online store and request refunds, replacements, or exchanges.
1.2 Due to the perishable, living nature of seedlings, this policy includes specific conditions to ensure fairness.
2. Applicable Law
2.1 This policy aligns with applicable legislation.
2.1.1 Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
2.1.2 Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, No. 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").
2.2 Your statutory rights always apply where required.
3. Returns Eligibility
3.1 There is no automatic right to return.
3.2 You may request a return if:
3.2.1 Products are damaged on delivery.
3.2.2 Incorrect products were delivered.
3.2.3 Products are defective.
3.3 A seedling is defective if:
3.3.1 It is dead or non-viable.
3.3.2 Severe physical damage exists.
3.3.2.1 Broken main stem.
3.3.2.2 Damaged roots.
3.3.2.3 Disease or pests present.
3.3.2.4 Incorrect product supplied.
3.3.2.5 Cannot establish growth.
3.4 Defect must exist on delivery.
4. Return Requests
4.1 Requests must be submitted within 24–48 hours.
4.2 Period is due to perishable nature.
4.3 Provide:
4.3.1 Order number.
4.3.2 Photos.
4.3.3 Description.
5. Returns Process
5.1 Instructions will be provided.
5.2 Approved returns:
5.2.1 Must be in reasonable condition.
5.2.2 Shipping may be charged.
5.2.3 Subject to inspection.
5.3 No approval = rejection.
5.4 CPA rights still apply.
6. Care & Exclusions
6.1 Customer responsibilities:
6.1.1 Unpacking.
6.1.2 Watering.
6.1.3 Proper planting.
6.2 Not liable for:
6.2.1 Neglect.
6.2.2 Environment.
6.2.3 Incorrect care.
6.3 No returns for:
6.3.1 Healthy seedlings.
6.3.2 Clearance items.
6.3.3 Change of mind.
7. Refunds
7.1 Refunds only if approved.
7.2 Processed in 7–10 days.
7.3 Deductions may apply.
8. Exchanges
8.1 No preference exchanges.
8.2 Allowed for defects or errors.
8.3 Subject to stock availability.
9. Shipping Costs
9.1 Shipping non-refundable unless error.
